This article briefly explains Club Online Link and its usability in Bepoz.

About

  • This will query the Clubs Online Web Server for the Financial status of an entered member Number
    • The answer from them is only Financial or Non-Financial – no other details
  • You can also have local members
    • It is advisable to ensure the Bepoz Account Flag "Use CALink for Points" is OFF for the local members – this will ensure it will not query the Web Server for local accounts
  • In CALink you can optionally set an Account ID to use for Financial Accounts
    • This will then use that Bepoz Account for Pricing, including Product and Prize Promotions
    • Sales information will also be recorded against this account
  • If the Account is not entered or set to zero, no local account will be used

Prerequisites

  • For an operator to be able to set up the interface with Clubs Online, the following privileges must be enabled 
  • Main Tab (General Settings) - Venue Maintenance
    • All 'System Setup' Flags

CALink Settings


  • Server Type: 
    • ClubsOnline
  • Account ID:
    • The Account ID from the local Bepoz DB to use as the default; see above for details
  • Till Connection TCP Port:
    • 11005 – This is always the setting
  • OrganisationID:
    • This is determined by ClubsOnline and should be provided & unique per organisation
