This article outlines a how-to guide to setup a Till Function button to redeem Vouchers issued by NowBookIt.

Bepoz supports vouchers issued by NowBookIt and these can be redeemed through SmartPOS. Voucher that are expired or disabled cannot be redeemed.

Prerequisites

To setup Till Function for Voucher redemption in BackOffice, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:

NowBookIt Voucher Redeem Till Function

After selecting the desired Till Function Map, click on the desired button space and then complete the following steps to configure the Voucher redeem Till Function for NowBookIt Vouchers:

Set the Panel to 'pnlTable'
In the Button text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button in SmartPOS
Set the Function drop-down to 'Custom Function'
Set the Sub-Function to 'Till Extension Function'

Note: If the Till Extension device for NowBookIt has not been configured, this Function button will not work on SmartPOS

The NowBookIt Vouchers are allowed to be redeemed on a any type of transaction in Bepoz
When a customer offers to pay for their NowBookIt reservation table transaction via a NowBookIt Voucher, open the respective NowBookIt table reservation and tap on the function button configured to redeem NowBookIt Vouchers
This will prompt to enter the NowBookIt Voucher Number
Enter a valid NowBookIt Voucher number and click on the OK button
If there is sufficient Voucher balance to pay off the transaction balance, then the transaction will be finalized using the Gift Voucher, else SmartPOS will deduct the amount equivalent to NowBookIt voucher balance and the remaining transaction balance must be paid with another payment method

Note: The Payment name shown in the transaction basket once the NowBookIt Table transaction is paid via a NowBookIt Voucher will be the same External Payment name configured in the Till Extension device for NowBookIt
