This article outlines the "Table Open Booking List" Sub-Function and how it is configured in BackOffice. The "Table Open Booking List" Sub-Function is designed to be used with a Table Reservation System integration such as with ResDiary. Depending on configuration, this Till Function button can be used to display a List of Seated Tables Booked through the Booking System as well as future Bookings.

The "Table Open Booking List" Sub-Function is designed to be used with a Table Reservation System integration such as with ResDiary.
Depending on configuration, this Till Function button can be used to display a List of Seated Tables Booked through the Booking System as well as future Bookings.
This can also be configured to display for a Specific Service Period; i.e., only display a List of Bookings for Dinner Service.
Prerequisites
- To access Till Function Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
- Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
- System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" Flag
- Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
- General: "Operate Tills" Flag
- To access and use this Till Function within SmartPOS, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
- Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
- Tables: "Table Sales" Flag
- Tables: "Create New Tables" Flag
Initial Set-Up
- Click on the desired Button space and then configure the Button Settings:
- In the Button Text field enter the text that will display on the Till Function Button on SmartPOS Workstation screens
- Set the Function drop-down to 'Tables & Accounts'
- Set the Sub-Function to 'Table Open Booking List'
Function-Specific Configuration Options
- Enter a corresponding number into the Item field where:
- "0" will show all Tables Booked and Seated
- "1" will only show Seated Tables; i.e. future Bookings will not be displayed
- Enter a corresponding number into the SubItem field where:
- "0" will show future Bookings for all Service Periods
- "1" will only show future Bookings for the Service Period specified by entering the desired Service Period Name or ID into the Key field
- In the Key field, the corresponding Service Period Name or ID must be entered if the SubItem field is being used to designate a Specific Service Period
- These configuration options allow for setting up multiple of these Till Function buttons, depending on Organizational needs, potentially where each one could display Bookings for a different Service Period and an additional button could be used to display only Seated Tables
