Using Analysis Reports in Bepoz

Introduction

The Analysis Reports section in Bepoz contains powerful tools to help venues track product performance, cost trends, and stock efficiency. These reports go beyond basic sales summaries, allowing operators to identify slow-moving products, review return on investment, and assess overstock or understock risks.

This article covers all standard reports within the Analysis Reports menu in Back Office.


 

Accessing Analysis Reports

  1. Log in to Back Office.

  2. Go to Reports > Analysis Reports.

  3. Choose from the following options:

    • Poor Selling Products

    • Return on Investment (ROI)

    • Cost Movements

    • Understock / Overstock

     

  4. Select your date range, site(s), and product filters.

  5. Click Generate Report.


 

Poor Selling Products Report

This report identifies items with low or no sales activity over the selected period. It helps you clean up menus, discontinue stock, or take corrective action.

Key Fields:

  • Product Name

  • Quantity Sold

  • Days Since Last Sold

  • Active/Inactive status

 

Use it for:

  • Highlighting dead stock

  • Identifying products to promote or delist

  • Managing inventory turnover


 

2. Return on Investment (ROI) Report

The ROI report evaluates products based on their sales performance versus cost — particularly useful for high-value or slow-moving items.

Key Fields:

  • Product Cost

  • Quantity Sold

  • Gross Sales

  • ROI Value or Ratio

Use it for:

  • Reviewing performance of high-cost items

  • Making menu/pricing decisions

  • Justifying supplier negotiations


 

3. Cost Movements Report

This report shows fluctuations in product costs over time — helping you track price creep, spot supplier changes, or detect manual overrides.

Key Fields:

  • Product Name

  • Current Cost vs. Previous Cost

  • % Change

  • Supplier or Stock Source (if available)

Use it for:

  • Identifying margin compression trends

  • Monitoring price changes across stores

  • Ensuring purchasing consistency


 

4. Understock / Overstock Report

This report shows products that are frequently over-ordered or understocked, based on recent sales and stock levels.

Key Fields:

  • Product Name

  • Average Daily Usage

  • Stock On Hand

  • Ideal Stock Level

  • Overstock/Understock Classification

Use it for:

  • Optimising stock control

  • Reducing waste and missed sales

  • Improving ordering decisions

  • Use filters to narrow results by category, supplier, or brand.

  • Combine with COGS and Sales reports for deeper insight.

  • Run monthly to identify trends and take proactive action.
