📄How to Add or Remove Marketing Media for use on a Customer Screen

This article covers the setup of Customer Screen Marketing Media.

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Bepoz Server 'Data' Folder

  • A media folder with new media

Note:

Images must be of type JPG and recommended less than 600Kb each, in size.

Videos must be of type MP4, WMV or AVI [playable in Windows Media Player] and recommended less than 3MB in size.

Resolutions should be Full HD [1920x1080] or less.

Setup

  • Copy the zip file and place it on the [Drive Letter]:\Bepoz\Data folder

  • Find and Edit [Double Click and open] the 'media' Zip file 

    The Zip file should open like any folder in Windows Explorer.

Editing/Removing Images

  • Delete any Images or Videos to be removed.

  • Drag and drop any new media into the open folder [zip file]

  • Close the Media Zip file [Folder]

  • From Backoffice, [Top menu] Click the Send button and choose  the 'Send Database to All Local Tills'. On the Smart Controller, make sure you get the message "Media file sent OK".

Note: if in a Multi-Venue system, instead choose the Option 'Send Full Database to All Venues'
