This is a summary for the Doshii Loyalty Integration with Bepoz. 

Overview

Doshii allows a Venue to enquire, activate & redeem Doshii Gift Cards in SmartPOS. 

Configuration within BackOffice includes a Till Extension Device & a Till Function Button - all of which facilitate our integration with Doshii helping to retrieve and handle gift cards.

  • The Doshii loyalty integration with Bepoz helps to enhance the Doshii offering by providing access to their gift card platform
  • Customers can enquire, activate or redeem a Doshii gift card
  • This is a live integration and no local information is stored in Bepoz, therefore there will be no ability to use the interface if the venue is offline
  • Features that are specific to the Doshii Loyalty platform include the following:
    • Card Enquiry - The ability to retrieve a balance of the card, along with the current status
    • Card Activation - The ability to activate a new Doshii Gift Card for use in Bepoz
    • Card Redemption - The ability to redeem a gift card against any balance in Bepoz

 

Prerequisites

  • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.2.8
  • For an operator to be able to set up the Doshii Loyalty Integration, the following privileges must be enabled:
    • General Settings: "Use Backoffice"
    • System Setup: “Access Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
    • System Setup: “Maintain Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
    • System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag
    • System Setup: "Maintain External Payments" flag

 

Key Features BackOffice Setup

  • To implement the Doshii Loyalty Integration, a Till Extension Device needs to be created and configured according to the details provided by Doshii
  • The Doshii Loyalty Integration Till Extension Device enables SmartPOS to communicate with Doshii to retrieve Gift Card information 
  • Till Function Buttons can be configured to retrieve Gift Card information from Doshii
    • Separate Till Function Buttons for Enquiry, Redeem & Activation can be configured if needed

 

SmartPOS Functionality

  • Till Function Buttons must be configured to allow the operator to Activate, Redeem and/or Enquire about a Gift Card
  • All functions will prompt the operator for a gift card number
    • Asking for a Gift Card number
    • Once the card is validated, the value remaining will display on SmartPOS
    • The operator can select to print or not to print the gift card details
    • Gift Card number
    • The value to be activated (this can be predefined within the function button)
    • Once the order is paid, the operator can select to print or not to print the gift card details
    • Gift Card number
    • Payment will then be processed through Doshii
    • Once the order is paid, the operator can select to print or not to print the gift card details
    • Enquiry
    • Activation
    • Redemption
    • If the operator is enquiring about a gift card, SmartPOS will prompt with the following:
    • If the operator is activating a gift card, SmartPOS will prompt with the following:
    • If the operator is redeeming a gift card, SmartPOS will prompt for the following:
    • If the operator is using the list functionality, SmartPOS will prompt them to choose from one of the following functions.
