📄Examples of the Types and setup of Products
This article outlines a few examples of Products that can be created in BackOffice and may be used in a variety of Hospitality Environments.
Prerequisites
Operator Privileges to View, Edit and Create New Products and product Groups
Operator Privileges to Edit Prices and Edit Product Sizes
Operator Privileges to Edit Product Store Info
Note: For Stocked product the Stock Control module needs to be authorised and active.
Example Products
Cocktails

Select the Non-Stocked flag in Stock Settings on the Product Settings Tab

Select the Ingredients button on the Product Settings Tab

This will open a new window where you will be able to add and edit the Product's ingredients (shown below)
- In this window, you will be able to add, edit, and delete ingredients for the Product
- You will also have the option to create and print a PDF of the ingredients list
- By Default, a whole base size is added when a new ingredient is added to the list
Food
Food (Meals) Products can be created in a number of ways:
1. Non Stocked
- Select the Non-Stocked flag on the Product Settings Tab
- Enter a Manual Cost for the Product on the Store/Pricing Settings Tab
- Note: If Ingredients are added for a Product, a Manual Cost will NOT be able to be entered as the Cost will calculate from the Ingredients
- This can be used for creating Products such as Staff Food, where the ingredients will vary, but will generally have a similar Cost

- Select the Non-Stocked flag on the Product Settings Tab
- Add the correct Ingredient and Size
Bulk Beer
Product Setup
Size Setup
- Select the Stocked flag on the Product Settings Tab
- The Store Type should be set to Bulk
- Cost for the Product comes from the Invoice.
- Set the correct Volume and Quantities for the Size.
