📄Introduction to Accounts

This article covers an introduction to the "Account" Maintenance Menu in BackOffice. 

Prerequisites

  • To access the "Account" Maintenance Menu, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
      • Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
      • Operators: "View Operators" Flag
      • All "Accounts & Memberships" Flags

     

    What is an Account

    Accounts in Bepoz have numerous purposes and functionalities which can include:

    • Assigning Account Groups or Individual Accounts particular Pricing and Point Profiles 
    • Can be used for Membership systems
    • Account and Sales tracking and monitoring 
    • Providing Discounts and Account Credit
    • Tailored Promotions

     

    "Account List" Tab and Header

    After Going to Maintenance and selecting Account you will be presented with this screen, explained below:

    Even though the Account List is a live view of the Database, it is treated as a report with all the same Report Tools:

    a. Print List - Will bring up the Print Dialogue box with options to Print the List

    b. Save Report - Will bring up the Save Report Dialogue box with options to Save the Report

    c. Export list - Will bring up the Export List Dialogue box with the options to Export

    d. Hide headers - Will hide the bar above the report

    e. Account Search - Will bring up the Account Search box as below:

     

    f. Add New Account - Start the first step in Creating a New Account

    g. Edit Account - Use to Edit the highlighted Account

    h. Account Profiles - Will bring up the Account Profiles Window

    i. Add New Group - Start the first step in Creating a New Group

    j. Group Tree List View - Full Tree [Full structure], List Only [list of Sub-Groups], Hide List [list of Alphabetical Accounts]

    k. Profile - Account Profile selector

    l. View - This is the Layout of the columns in the report. Click this button to add or Edit a View. The View drop down is list of the different saved Views.

    m. Filter - Turns on the Filter option. Used for narrower investigating of Reports 

    n. Sub Accounts - Breaks down the groups and shows only a list of Accounts

    o. Inactive - If On, will show any Inactive [disabled] Operator in Red text.

    p. Edit Mode - If On, certain fields of the Operator List View can be edited without entering the Operator.

    q. Account Data Line - Generated report data of listed Accounts
