This article covers a short introduction to the "Operators" Maintenance Menu in BackOffice.
Overview
Operators are the users that will be accessing Bepoz and will carry out the functionality and business day-to-day Operators. The Operator List is structured through a tree-like setup with numerous groupings for stemming into other groups to keep likes with likes.
Prerequisites
- To access the "Operators" Maintenance Menu, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
- Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
- Operators: "View Operators" Flag
Operators
- Operators are users that need to log in and use the System (both BackOffice and SmartPOS)
- Operators that are created can be maintained in one of two ways:
- Individual: Specific authorizations for individual users for completing transactions and system operations
- Group: Settings for each user determined by their role can be set up at a group level
- Operators that are created through group settings and role levels reduces the time to configure and maintain multiple Operators
