This article covers a short introduction to the "Operators" Maintenance Menu in BackOffice. 

Overview

Operators are the users that will be accessing Bepoz and will carry out the functionality and business day-to-day Operators.  The Operator List is structured through a tree-like setup with numerous groupings for stemming into other groups to keep likes with likes.

Prerequisites 

  • To access the "Operators" Maintenance Menu, the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled 
  •  Operator Maintenance 'Maintenance' Tab
  • Operators: "View Operators" Flag

Operators

  • Operators are users that need to log in and use the System (both BackOffice and SmartPOS) 
  • Operators that are created can be maintained in one of two ways: 
  • Individual: Specific authorizations for individual users for completing transactions and system operations
  • Group: Settings for each user determined by their role can be set up at a group level   
  • Operators that are created through group settings and role levels reduces the time to configure and maintain multiple Operators
