There are a number of Till Functions which are specific to Table Transactions that can be performed from SmartPOS Workstations. The specific Table Till Functions available on a Workstation will depend on Function Map configurations.
Basic Table Till Functions include Table Transfers, adding Seat Numbers, setting a Table Limit, guest Walkout, etc. Some of the more Advanced Table Functions include marking Courses Away, Courses Served, Table Item Details, adding Receipt Comments, etc.
Prerequisites
- To access SmartPOS Tables and Tabs features, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled
- Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
- All "Tables" Flag
Table Till Function Map Panel/s
- The Table Till Function Panel will appear in the Function Map Panel of a SmartPOS Workstation screen when a Table Transaction is active
- Alternatively, a Table Function Panel can be accessed via a separate Till Function button if one is configured
- While the specific Till Functions to appear can be configured in BackOffice, by default there will be Table Till Functions already configured which are seen below
- Multiple Function Map Panels can be configured which can then be accessed via Till Function buttons from another Panel
'More Table Functions' Button
- This Panel usually consists of Table Away & Table Served Till Functions, however, it can be customized from Backoffice Till Function Map
'Other Functions' Button
- This Till Function Panel consists of all the other Till Functions that are often used in the business while in a Table Transaction
- It is not mandatory that all the function buttons in this panel are Table Functions and can be customized via Backoffice
