This is a summary page for the Liven integration with Bepoz.
About
- Liven API is an external payment system that can be used to process transactions in Sydney- and Melbourne-based restaurants.
- This provides a payment system where the customers can choose to pay with their Liven Mobile Application instead of Cash or Bank Card
- This application also provides universal cash rewards to the customers on the basis of how much they are spending on each transaction
- For the businesses to use this interface, simple BackOffice configuration includes adding an External Payment definition and creating an External Payment Device
Prerequisites
- Minimum Bepoz version of 4.6 is required for this functionality
- To configure the Liven integration components within BackOffice, Operators will need the following Privileges enabled:
- "Maintain External Payments"
- "Access Venue, Stores & Tills"
- "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills"
- "Maintain Global Settings"
- "Maintain Till Function Maps"
- "General" tab; "System Setup" section:
- To access Liven features from SmartPOS the following Operator Privileges will need to be enabled:
- General: "Operate Tills" Flag
- Tables: "Table Sales" Flag
- Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
Key Features BackOffice Setup
- To integrate Liven in Bepoz, a new External Payment has to be defined in BackOffice within the External Payments component
- Quick and simple configuration of an External Payment Device requires credentials from Liven and selection of the defined External Payment Number
- Additionally, an External Payment Till Function button will need to be added to the payment options that will be accessible in SmartPOS for Operators to choose from
SmartPOS Functionality
- Once the BackOffice configurations are completed, Operators can select the External Payment Till Function Button to account for payment of the Transaction which will then report to the configured External Payment Number
