📄LMG Loyalty - Till Extension Device Setup Guide

This article covers the Till Extension Device setup for the LMG Loyalty Integration with Bepoz.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.2.9 and onwards
  • For an Operator to be able to setup LMG Loyalty Integration, the following Operator privileges must be enabled:
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
      • System Setup: “Maintain Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag
      • System Setup: “Access Venue, Stores, Tills” Flag

 

LMG Loyalty Till Extension Device Setup

  • After logging into BackOffice, complete the following steps to create & configure a LMG Loyalty Till Extension Device:
    • Navigate to the System Setup component in the sidebar, and select Venue, Stores & Tills to open the Venue & Till List Tab
    • Highlight the desired Till and click on the Add New Device button in the header; when prompted select 'Blank Device' and a New Device and Interfaces Maintenance window will open
    • Enter a relevant Device Name, set the Device Type to 'Till Extension', set the External DLL Name to 'Tillx_lmgloyalty.Dll', and the Class Name to 'LMG Loyalty'
  1. Within the Device Options,
    • This flag works in conjunction with the 'Use Template Account" flag and uses the Account specified in the 'AccountGroupID' field
    • If this flag is ON, then Operators will be prompted to enter the customer information when creating a new LMG Loyalty account from SmartPOS     
    • If flag is turned Off, Operator can still create account with just email address and membership card details
      • Note: It is recommended to have the above flag turned ON since it allows Operator to enter customer details like their name, address details and other contact information
    • When this is turned On, whenever a membership card is scanned, SmartPOS will directly connect to LMG Loyalty server to get the member details
    • Else, if this flag is 'On', card scan is disabled but the LMG members can still be searched via the Till extension button configured
    • Update Bepoz Accounts: This flag when enabled, creates or updates the local Bepoz accounts when the corresponding LMG Loyalty member card is used at SmartPOS
    • Use Template Account: This flag when enabled, uses a template account (defined in 'Account GroupID' field)
    • Customer Prompt:
    • Disable Loyalty Card Scan:  
    • API URL: Enter the API URL provided by LMG 
    • Username: Enter the Username provided by LMG 
    • Password: Enter the Password provided by LMG 
    • Site ID: Enter the Site ID provided by LMG 
    • Serial Number: Enter the Serial Number provided by LMG
    • Account Group ID: Enter the AccountGroupID number that should be used for creating the LMG Loyalty accounts

2. Click the "Advanced Settings" button at the bottom of the window to open a separate window

    • Payment Settings:
      • Points External Payment: Select the desired external payment number to report any payments made via point redemption on SmartPOS
      • Voucher External Payment: Select the desired external payment number to report any payments made via LMG Loyalty vouchers on SmartPOS
      • Fee Product Id: Enter the ProductID number that should be used for Voucher fees
      • Payments:
      • Discounts: Note: This functionality is available from v4.7.3.2 and onwards
        • Item Discount Totaliser: This is the default Item discount totaliser. Select the desired Item Discount Totaliser from the dropdown 
        • Order Discount Totaliser: This is the default Order discount totaliser. Select the desired Order Discount Totaliser from the dropdown 
      • Card Prefix Settings:
        • Card Type: Select the card type from the drop down list
        • Prefix: Enter the prefix. The following characters will be stripped from the data when a card is swiped 
        • Strip Chars: Enter the number of characters to be stripped while scanning the card
        • Use Chars: Enter the number of characters to be used after stripping the characters while scanning the card
      • Test Connection:
        • Member No: Enter a valid LMG Member number to retrieve the available offers 
        • Get Offers: When clicked on the 'Get Offers' button, the available offers are retrieved for the LMG Member
    • Click on Save button to save the Settings

3. Click ‘OK’ to save the Till Extension Device settings
