About
NowBookIt is a Reservation Management System (RMS) which is integrated with Bepoz
Bepoz can retrieve NowBookIt reservations into SmartPOS and send updated Table Statuses back to NowBookIt
The integration will be split into two facets; the ability to send sales data to NowBookIt and the ability to retrieve, consume & update bookings which will be converted into tables within SmartPOS
Prerequisites
- NowBookIt requires Authorisation and activation. Contact your Account Manager
- Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7 and onwards
- For an operator to be able to setup NowBookIt integration, the following privileges must be enabled
- Enable General: "Operate Tills" Flag
- System Setup Flags: "Access Venue Stores & Tills" flag
- System Setup Flags: "Maintain Venue Stores & Tills" flag
- System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag
- Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
- Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
Key Features BackOffice Setup
- To implement the NowBookIt interface, a Transaction Queue Device and Till extension Device need to be created and configured according to the details provided by NowBookIt
- Till Sub-Function buttons also need to be configured in BackOffice for either/or 'Table Open booking List' and 'Graphical Table Booking'
- There are many different workflows that can occur when using this Till Function depending on the situation:
- Opening a Booking
- View Booking Details
- Seating a Walk-in via SmartPOS, and via NowBookIt
- The Sub-Function 'Till Extension Function' button can also be configured to redeem Vouchers issued by NowBookIt at SmartPOS
