Overview

This  version has been classified as a Public BETA, and DIONYSUS is now considered to be feature complete. Although there still may be some minor defects due to the quantity of features and changes these should be of a low impact to the user.

New Functionality, Changes, and Fixes

Ancillary Core, SmartController, System setup, Operational setup and Other

  • DIONYSUS-5980
    • Product Condiments now display correct Price Number in Transaction Journal on the basis of table type i.e. for an account attached transaction, product and condiment display account based Price Number.

  • DIONYSUS-6003
    • Operators can no longer scan another barcode before selecting specific product(s) from previously scanned barcode attached to multiple products in SmartPOS. Scanned barcode also automatically populates the text field while entering/searching products and barcodes.

Developer Network / API

    DIONYSUS - 5918
      XML API 'TransactionCreate' method has been modified to support Bistro Tables
      A Bistro table can now be opened, payed and closed off via XML API

EFTPOS

  • DIONYSUS-5966/EROS-1164
    • When refunding from integrated Eftpos terminals, POS correctly displays and refunds the total value to be refunded. The total value includes any Tips, Surcharges and/or Handling fee added from the POS and/or the terminal.

Sales/transaction Reporting

  • DIONYSUS-6017 / BEPOZ-3696
    • Incorrect calculation of NettTotal in Till Balance when Manual Handling fee is removed from a transaction has been fixed
    • The Manual Handling Fee will not be included in the NettTotal value in Sales reports, if it is removed before the transaction has been finalized
      Note:
        1. The issue still exists when manual handling is removed from a Split Table transaction
          • We are currently working on this and a fix is aimed to be provided in our next version release
        2. Also, in case of refunding a transaction which includes Handling Fee (either manual or automatic), handling fee is still not being removed from the NettTotal Calculation
          • A different ticket (DIONYSUS - 6024) has been raised for this and aimed to be fixed in our next version release 

SmartPDE

  • DIONYSUS-5942 
    • Main thread error issue encountered on SmartPDE device when upgrading from version <= 4.6.0.29 has been fixed 
    • NullReferenceException error message  encountered when performing any function on SmartPDE device has also been fixed.
  • DIONYSUS-5995 / BEPOZ-3617

    • Error message encountered when 'Re-Sending' transactions using the 'Resend to Server' option on both SmartPDE device SmartPDE32 has been fixed
    • The delay in presenting the modal window when trying to resend transactions to server from SmartPDE device is a known issue and is aimed to be fixed along with a similar issue (BEPOZ-3606)

SmartPOS

Stock Reporting

  • DIONYSUS-5641 / BEPOZ-2902
    • COGS By Stocktake 
    • The data displayed in COG's report is linked to Stocktake via the ShiftID
    • This implies that if the ShiftID  is same when the Stocktake is performed and when COG's report is generated / run, the Stock deducted value will update every time a product is sold
    • However, another issue with incorrect Stock data being displayed when 'Sub Products & Inactive' flag is OFF has been fixed and correct data is now displayed

  • DIONYSUS-3079 / BEPOZ-1822
    • Basic structural changes have been made to calculate the 'On Hand' values for Stock which has allowed to address the discrepancy issues in Stock Summaries and Period Summary reports 

Known Issues/Limitations

Below you will find a list of P1 Service Desk Requests that remain outstanding. A P1 request is classified as an error with either a Critical or Major severity level.
