Overview

This version has been classified as a Public BETA, and DIONYSUS is now considered to be feature complete. Although there still may be some minor defects due to the number of features and changes these should be of a low impact to the user.

Known Issues & Limitations:

  • Account Sale of a Zero Priced, 0 Cost, 0 Stock Product does not show in Account Reports attached to that account
  • Attaching an Account with a 'Blank' Account number results in a warning messagepop up "this account has already been used on this transaction"

  1. Table details like TableID, TableNumber and TableName are populated in the transaction details when XMLAPI transaction is imported into BackOffice
  2. Vouchers can now be redeemed on SmartPOS for transactions created via API. This has been fixed by updating the XML API to set NettEach = Nett / Qty in Transactioncreate

  1. New flag named ‘Use Card Number As Acc Num’ has been introduced in Thirsty Camel BackOffice Extension device (Tillx_thirstycamel.Dll)
    1. When this flag is ON, this will use the Card number as Account number, when a new Account is being created for a thirsty Camel member
    2. When the flag is OFF, this will use the next sequence number as Account number (as set in Global Settings) when a new Account is being created for a thirsty Camel member

Marketing and Promotions

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  1. BEPOZ-3931/ Schedules configured for a new voucher will save correctly once the Voucher has been created. 
Known Issues & Limitations:
    Product Promotions setups using "Sort/Type/All" and "Redeem not Allowed" to prevent point redemption is still allowing the redeem of points at SmartPOS
  1. Multibuy Vouchers that are cancelled at SmartPOS result in a Negative Used Count on the Voucher Given Report
  2. Vouchers Custom lookup number and the Autogenerated Lookup Number is not Unique resulting in the incorrect voucher being redeemed

POS Printing / Remote Printing

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  1. DIONYSUS-6751 Fix / A reported issue where SmartPOS in Stand-Alone Mode was not printing Bistro Tables to remote printers has been fixed
Known Issues & Limitations:
  1. SmartPOS users are only able to print the last receipt on a Bistro table via the Transaction List for Bistro tables when there has been multiple orders and payments on the same bistro #
  2. When attaching an account to a table after a table save causes the receipt/invoice to not correctly consolidate condiments
  3. Print Formats require the option to hide Reason codes from printing on customer receipts
  4. The negative indicator is not been shown on a customers receipt when an account is attached and the currency symbol is hidden within the printer definitions
  5. Test Split Table Printing Consolidation
  6. Hold and Fire Overrides do not trigger due to Condiment product not following Base product when changing Product Sort from SmartPOS

Products / Product Maintenance

    When I remove a product from the store and click ok on the product it is still there when I go back
  1. Product Flag - "Prompt for qty sold" does not prompt after SmartPOS Restart, it will only prompt the second time the item is sold

    Transqrooms.dll update errors with "Reopened Tables" & "Tips Inflating" & "Handling Fee" being calculated as a payment when sending Data to Opera

Sales/transaction Reporting

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  1. The totalizer for Returns on Sales Reports now displays the correct value (without GST) when the flag 'Include Inclusive Taxes' is turned off in Global Settings

Known Issues & Limitations:
    Table Report "Show split" option hidden on Saved Reports. Due to Venue selector defaulting to 'All Venues'
  1. The Average Spent in till Balance Report is incorrect for Split Bill Transaction
  2. In Multi-Venue, Refund using the Transaction List button reports incorrectly in Till Balance and TJ reports
  3. Bistro Table with Order Discount % or Order Discount Amount and Handling Fee incur Incorrect Netttotal figure on Till Balance 

Service Charge and Tips

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  1. Handling Fee is now correctly printed for all type of transactions in every Till mode.

Known Issues & Limitations:

  1. Handling Fee Value not included in Total Nett Makeup on a Product Return. Till balance and Transaction List Totalling does not include the Handling Fee Value, only the Product Value.

  2. Refunding line items causes incorrect handling fee quantity in Till Balance report

  3. The Service Charge Toggle function can only be performed once per transaction, meaning if a service change is removed it can't be reapplied

  5. Bistro Transaction with Service Charge and an Order Discount % produce incorrect discount amount

SmartPOS

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  1. BEPOZ-3200/ Operators can now add custom images in the Till Function Buttons and have them displayed in SmartPOS without encountering any issue

Known Issues & Limitations:

  1. Barcode set to 'Select Size' prevents a sale from being tendered.
  2. emSize error pops up while adding custom image in the Till function button for the first time
  3. The "Use Stock Qty" flag is missing from the MaxSaleQty.Dll resulting in users not been able to use this function with selling sizes
  4. Operators are able to perform an EFTPOS Cash out on Bistro Tables, When the Till Flag "CashOut OK" is FALSE
  5. The split by seat function requires users to select any split prior to using the function the base table CAN'T be the selected table
  6. Your Order receipt shows outstanding Balance
  7. Adding An Order Discount Amount Prior to Saving and Then Splitting a Table Results in the Table Remaining Open and the user is Unable To Close the table due to a balance owed
  8. Although Users Can Add Custom Images To Function Maps These Images Are Not Been Shown At SmartPOS, Stock Icons/Images Are Been Shown
  9. When using the Venue flag "Operator Cash Drawer Lock", if 'float required' flag is true for an operator, it will ask for float for the operator who is assigned to drawer
  10. Flagging on 'Price on ProdMap' does not display the product prices at SmartPOS for products that have multiple selling sizes

StockControl inc. Supplier comms

New Features, Changes & Fixes:

  1. Products can no longer be manufactured from SmartPOS when it is in Standalone or Offline mode

Known Issues & Limitations:

  1. There is currently no way to control freight Tax within the Xero interface, as a result Bepoz and the export do not match the physical receipt
  2. Stocktakes not closing correctly.
