📄Venue Maintenance "Main" Tab - Part 1

Venue Maintenance "Main" Tab - Part 1 focuses on the General settings in "Main" Tab of Venue Maintenance which hosts settings for Service Charges, Address Contact Details and Location details. 

Overview

There are five options in this section which allows operators to configure Service Charges, Address & Contact Details and Location details.

 

Prerequisites 

  • To access Venue Settings, the applicable Operator Privileges   will need to be enabled 
    • System Setup: "Access Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag 
    • System Setup: "Maintain Venue, Stores & Tills" Flag 
    • Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab

 

General Configurations

Configuration Option   

Description
Address & Contact Details
  • These are the Address & Contact Details of the Venue including Street Address, Postal Address, and Phone Numbers                             
Service Charge Setup
  • This section consists of all the options to set Service Charge By Store which are explained further below
Reseller
  • This drop-down will allow for selecting the correct Bepoz Reseller
  • Selecting the correct Reseller will ensure that accurate Sales & Support contact information are shown correctly
Country
  • This is the Country where the Venue is located
  • If the Country has multiple States or Regions, the corresponding Region drop-down will be populated
Region
  • The Region is used for various purposes and can change the way BackOffice works
  • There are certain rules for individual Regions so this must be set correctly

 

Service Charge Setup

 

Flags/Field

         Description
Service Charge Name
  • This will the name of Service Charge to be displayed in transaction window and receipts
Service Charge Tax
  • This will be the tax imposed before, after or same as Addon Tax
Service Charge Auto Perc.
  • This will be the extra service charge per guest once the cover limit is crossed
Service Charge Min Guests
  • This will be the guest cover allocated
Move Service Charge to Tips
  • This will change the service charge category to tips
Maintain Service Charge on Product Sold
  • This will maintain the service charge on sold products
Account Serv Chrg Overrides Price Schedules
  • This flag will allow Service Charge allocated to accounts to override pricing schedule
Table Serv Chrg Overrides price Schedule
  • This flag will allow Service Charge allocated to tables to override pricing schedule
Auto Perc Serv Chrg Overrides price Schedule
  • This flag will allow auto percent service charge  to override pricing schedule
