To be able to Create, Edit and/or View reports, the applicable Operator Privileges will need to be enabled: Operator Maintenance 'Reporting' Tab 'Sales Reports' Flags 'Other Reports' Flags 'Global Reports' Flags
Below are some concepts found in Bepoz reports, there are some different features unique to different reporting methods and are not be available in some reports. They are explained further in the correlating section.
The Reporting Tools are standard across all reports in Backoffice and give the ability to Save, Print and Export and more.
The Venue drop down menu (If a Multi-Venue system) allows you to select an individual Venue or Venue Group to reports on.
The Store drop down menu allows you to report on all or individual Stores
The Display Period dictates over what date and time period the report will run.
The TimeSpan will break the sort the information for a time period into the sub time groups.
Group By will sort the data in the report into different sections according to the selected magnitude of location.
Charts are possible in most reports in BackOffice. When charting data, BackOffice will look at the View currently selected, and chart the columns in the view that have the chart flag turned on. See More
Comparative Reporting allows you to compare sales from one report period to another similar 2nd period. This feature is available in the Till Summaries, Product Summaries, Operator Summaries, Stock Summaries, and Account Summaries.
Views are a selection of columns that is shown in the display area. It is the particular column selections from the database that you are put into the View that you are now “Viewing”. Views are used in all reports and in the maintenance screens for displaying different information.
Filters are used in BackOffice to display only the information based on the criteria set in the filter rows. There can be multiple filters running through one report by adding a filter to several columns.
The Report Wizard (top) is a tool that contains a number or pre-configured reports. It is a quick access area fort all Backoffice Reports that are considered essential to your business.
