A Summary of the most important Bepoz Programs

Smart Controller (smartcontrol.exe)
The information being sent from BackOffice to the POS and vice versa travels through what is called the Smart Controller. It is the heart; and most important application, of the Bepoz system.

The Smart-Controller is the application that controls the dispersal of information, it runs and traces all the software activity. If your Smart Controller is shut down your POS will only work in off-line Mode (or Standalone Mode), as there is no path for the information to travel between BackOffice and the POS.

Smart Print (smartprint32.exe)
This program controls the activation of printers.

This software must be running on the device (workstation or POS) that has a Printer attached (Network or Serial). Network Printers are not physically attached but are virtually attached to devices.

CA Link (calink.exe)
This is the Link between the Gaming or Membership system and the Bepoz system.

This program must be running to enable communication between the POS and the Gaming Database for successful retrieval of member Information at the POS.

RMS Server (rmsserver.exe)
This is the link between Bepoz and Room charge Reservation system. Mainly used for Basic RMS or Advanced Cloud.
Reservation Link (reslink.exe)
This is the Link between a Room Charge Reservations system such as Room Master. It must be running to allow room charges sold at the POS to be received live at the room charge system used.
SmartPOS (smartpos.exe)
This is the program that runs on the Till hardware and allows the Operator to perform functions such as Sales, Refunds, etc.
BackOffice (backoffice.exe)
This is the main program that allows Bepoz users to make changes to your system, run reports and everything else in between.
KDS Link (kdslink.exe)
This is the program that communicates SmartPOS sales with the Kitchen Display System.
